Roadmap and Chapter III

Now that chapter II has been completed we will focus on continuing the story in chapter II with an emphasis around monster battles as well as a few more puzzles. In addition to using counterparty tokens to summon monsters we may also add support for ERC-20 tokens and possibly Monaparty

Lightning Network

We find our selfs in an awkward position, bitcoin transaction fees are very high for most gaming use cases and 2nd layer solutions are still in development. However having said this I have decided it is best to think longterm and embrace layer 2 scaling solutions such as lightning network into the apps this year.
Starting most likely with the original SaruTobi game and if successfull into takara and SaruTobi Island.

Counterparty

2018 will likely see a few Counterparty forks onto cheaper less secure chains. One such fork that is already live is Monaparty with a litecoin and/or bitcoin cash fork suspected to follow. It is hard to judge the long term stability of these forks however it is likely I will support them in addition to the original Counterparty bitcoin protocol. Working with Indiesquare I am currently researching and implementing an Atomic Swap protocol to allow users to trade tokens in between chains and thus create an interlinked network of assets across the various forks. In addition to this later in the year we also plan to explore porting the lightning network to support certain liquid tokens such as Bitcrystals and Pepecash etc.
