Bitcoin VR
I am pleased to announce the release of the virtual reality bitcoin block explorer on steam!
There is no real motive or ambition behind the project, after seeing the chainflyer block explorer and buying a htc vive I just thought it would be a cool to experience the blockchain in VR!
Because of this the game is free and will remain free and I fully encourage the use of it for events/marketing etc in order to spread bitcoin.
(as the app is free it uses free APIs from blockchain.info and there may be downtime if limits are reached)
It is a fairly simple sandbox environment, real time btc transactions will fall from the sky and you can pick them up to view tx info or shoot them with a bow and arrow.
The game also supports Coutnerpary transactions, meaning you can view blockchain tokens such as Rarepepe and Spells of Genesis when they are transacted. I am personally involved in the blockchain gaming revolution and if you want to get involved more with Coutnerparty and blockchain gaming assets I highly recommend checking out Book of Orbs app where you can trade and collect Coutnerparty game items and collectable tokens.
As most people probably don’t own a HTC vive and gaming pc a mobile version for google cardboard will also be coming out soon! for updates on the release you can follow me on twitter @mandelduck
Currently the app is only supported on the HTC vive as I do not own an Oculus (it may work in a limited function with other VR head sets)
Any donations are kindly appreciated and will go towards purchasing an Oculus headset to add support.
